The Geneva Police Department is investigating a suspicious death after finding a 43-year-old Geneva woman dead from a fatal gunshot wound outside her home. A female relative living in the Chicago area called police at 8:02 p.m. on Wednesday to report the woman as possibly missing. Geneva and St. Charles police responded to conduct a well-being check at a home in the 700 block of McKinley Avenue. Upon arrival, officers met with a male family member who was unable to answer officer questions or provide any substantiated information on the missing woman. The use of RSCs combine a strong sense of public awareness and enforcement in order to save lives of the motoring public. Sheriff Ron Hain will be recognizing and presenting the Heroic Citizen Award to citizens Jose Bosque Jr, Jose Bosque III, and Michael Curtis at the Kane County Board Meeting on May 10th at 9:45 AM. In January of 2016, Michael Klimek, who at the time was a guard at the Illinois Youth Center-St. Charles, facilitated and encouraged young detainees to attack other detainees, then sat back and watched the mayhem. For that abuse, Klimek faces from 2-5 years in prison, although he remains eligible for probation. Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie L. The Naperville Police Department recently raised awareness about the growing concern of “sextortion,” reminding parents to talk to their children about never sending compromising photos or videos to anyone.
