Authorities charged man today with the death of two men who were shot during an April 10 gunfight that ended up hospitalizing 4 people in addition to the deceased. This Friday, May 6, First Fridays brings nearly 30 food trucks to Benton Street in downtown Aurora. The popular festival is returning after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. On Saturday evening at approximately 90:30pm, a masked man brandishing a firearm approached an unidentified number of adults at a Chase ATM in the 500 block of Shay Oaks Drive in Elgin. The masked subject approached the victims, displayed his firearm and demanded money. After having received an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled in an unknown direction.
