It’s that time of year, again, where pig-racing and truck-pulling are the name of the game.
We’re talking, of course, about the Kane County Fair, which takes place this weekend at, appropriately enough, the Kane County Fairgrounds. (What are the odds?)
Farm animals, rodeo events, live music and a dramatic infusion of new cowboy hats await you at the fairgrounds, so head on down!

Keeping in the country & western theme (“we have both!”), the fine city of Yorkville will be dosey-doeing on down with live country music, craft beer (of course), cardboard boat races (or are they ships?) and a whole mess of other fun stuff as part of the appropriately-named Yorkville River Fest (again, what are the odds?) this weekend.
(Look, we know everybody just loves craft beer. But we’re looking for some craft Scotch. Any takers?)

We guess technically it would be one who fights foos.
Or perhaps one who fights on behalf of foos?
At the direction of foos? Or is there some guy named “Foo” for which these guys fight?
