A man was shot and killed in Streamwood Friday evening, according to reports from the Streamwood police. The 31-year-old victim, Kwemi Hardwick, was found dead Friday evening in a Streamwood home on North Victory Lane. Police indicated that he died of multiple gunshot wounds. A suspect, identified as an acquaintance of Hardwick’s, is in custody. The death remains under investigation by Streamwood police and the Major Case Assistance Team. Police said they believe the shooting is an isolated event and there is no further threat to the public.

On 4/22/22 at approximately 10:00am Bob Browning, 85 years old, left his home on the east side of St Charles. He was driving a silver Dodge Dakota with an IL registration 35716X. On the morning of June 10, 2017, Rodolfo Rocha was outside a Grove Street home with friends and family. At some point that morning, 29 year-old Anthony Medina, and 27 year-old Martin Garcia, Jr., approached the gathering and told them to declare a gang affiliation. When they replied that they were not gang members, Medina and Garcia pulled out guns and shot Rocha, killing him. During the incident Medina shot Garcia in the abdomen, and struck Rocha’s car.
