Nationally-touring comedian and actress Rachel Feinstein will be performing at The Comedy Vault in Batavia from Thursday to Saturday for five shows. The Elgin Police Department has released the body-worn camera video of an officer-involved shooting that occurred on January 13, 2024 in the 900 block of Oak Ridge Boulevard. According to EPD, on that day at 1:28 a.m., an officer responded to the 900 block of Oak Ridge Boulevard for a reported suicidal subject. City of Geneva Special Olympics Illinois has presented Geneva Police Officer Chuck Parisi with the Flame of Hope Award for his 20 years of dedicated volunteer service to the organization. After being clocked at 104mph in a 45mph zone, a Chicago man allegedly fled Naperville police by driving into oncoming traffic on Route 59 near I-88.
