    Oswego Police Seeking Help In Identifying Suspect In Morning Hit-And-Run

    A 68-year-old woman is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries this afternoon after being struck by a vehicle at the corner of Mill Road and West Washington Street early this morning.

    According to Oswego police, at approximately 6:47am this morning the victim was crossing Mill Road from Lynx Lane to West Washington Street and was struck by a car turning left onto Mill Road from West Washington Street. The car did not stop and continued westbound on Mill Road. The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

    Oswego police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifing the driver of the vehicle, described by witnesses as a white car with tinted windows and a left headlight out.

    Anyone with information, including possible video surveillance, is asked to call Oswego Police at 630-551-7300. Information can also be provided to Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999 where information leading to an arrest can result in a cash award.
