Auroran Nicole Dickerson has died from injuries suffered during a three-vehicle accident on Eola Road last Thursday evening. Dickerson was 48 years old. At 8:52PM Thursday evening, APD officers responded to the area of Eola Road and Village Green Drive for a three-vehicle traffic crash. The preliminary investigation showed the driver of a southbound vehicle, a 32-year-old Aurora man, crossed the median and struck a northbound vehicle. Second District Appellate Court Justice Donald C. Hudson passed away at his home early Tuesday, April 11, 2023, following a battle with cancer, according to a press release from Illinois Courts. Authorities have identifed the victim in Sunday’s fatal shooting in Aurora. The deceased is 24-year-old Myles Buie of Aurora. Shortly before 10:00PM Sunday evening, Aurora police were called to the 400 block of west New York Street in repsonse to shots being reported. Officers found Buie suffering from gunshot wounds inside a parked vehicle. Aurora Fire Department paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
