According to the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, a man was fatally injured when his BMW first rear-ended the car in from of him and then crashed into an oncoming car, causing his BMW to split in half and him to be ejected from the vehicle. 19-year-old Alex Garcia-Roguel of Aurora was pronounced deceased at the scene. A violent crash at the intersection of Randall Road and Red Gate this afternoon resulted in two St. Charles men in hospital in serious condition. The Kane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle traffic crash with injuries that occurred on United States Highway 30, in unincorporated Big Rock Township Monday. The crash occurred at approximately 4:00pm. On June 3, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Naperville Police Officer Frank Tonkovich observed a black Honda Civic disobey a stop sign at eastbound McDowell Road and Bond Street. A massive police presence descended on Six Flags this evening in response to what the park is describing as a shooting incident from a vehicle in its parking lot. “Based on the initial investigation, a white sedan entered the Six Flags parking lot and drove toward the front entrance of the park,” Gurnee police spokesperson Shawn Gaylor. “Suspects exited the vehicle and began shooting toward another individual in the parking lot. Shootings on interstate highways, which have plagued Chicago and surrounding communities in recent years, have moved westward. At approximately 1:15 a.m. this morning, Illinois State Police Troopers responded to the scene of a reported shooting on I-88 near York Road in DuPage County. According to ISP, a vehicle was fired upon while heading eastbound on I-88, resulting in the vehicle crashing. Preliminary reports indicate the shots were fired from an unknown vehicle also traveling eastbound.
