On Monday, August, at approximately 11:00 a.m., authorities located the body of 58-year-old Lisa M. Raska during an extensive search of a heavily wooded area near Prospect Avenue and North Avenue in Streamwood. Her cause of death is unknown pending an autopsy. At the moment, police do not suspect foul play. Raska was first reported missing by a family member on Saturday, July 31, at approximately 11:50 a.m. She was last seen leaving her residence on foot at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021. A 22 year-old Bartlett man was shot Saturday evening and taken to a local hospital.  No information about his condition is available at this time. At approximately 11:00 p.m. Saturday evening, Bartlett police responded to the area of Harbor Terrace and Island Court to investigate a shooting incident, where they discovered a 22-year-old male victim who had suffered a non-life-threatening single gunshot wound. Bartlett native Kelsey Robinson and the USA Women’s Volleyball Team defeated Brazil 3-0 last night to win the United States first-ever Olympic gold medal in women’s volleyball. Robinson, an outside hitter playing in her second Olympics, picked up her second medal, adding gold to the bronze the team won in 2016. Sixteen year-old Cameron Kelty of Bartlett passed away yesterday as a result of injuries suffered in the crash which also took the life of fellow passenger Alex E.
