4 FOR THE WEEKEND
So let’s get to it, starting with…..
Goditi il Festa!
OK, bang, you got us, Sherlock. We don’t know Italian and the title of this bit was obtained from an online translator.
Sue us.
(And it’s probably wrong. Online translators make everybody sound like Borat.)
But still, Festa Italiana is a blast, particularly if you like meatballs, for which a contest is held.

Erin Go “Woot-Woot”
OK, so now it’s the Irish.
Yes, this enewsletter seems to have gone all ethnic recently, what with the Italians above and the Puerto Ricans last week.
What can we say? We celebrate diversity here.
Even if we have to include the bloody Irish….
(That’s a joke, people. Calm down.)

Take Me To The River
Aurora’s First Fridays have become a mainstay for the revitalized downtown area. And this Friday ought to be no exception.
The annual Stolp Island Block Party will be the centerpiece this month, with food trucks, art, music – the works.
We were just down there last weekend for the Puerto Rican Heritage Festival and it was awesome.
Stop in at Ann Morton’s Stolp Island Social for a drink or dinner while you’re there. (No, we’re not engaging in shameless plugging for our advertisers. Not that we’re not above that kind of thing. They don’t advertise with us, for some inexplicable reason. [HINT! HINT!])

And Finally…
Nothing more need be said than “Funky Cold Medina.”
(OK, maybe “Ice-Ice, Baby,” but you get the idea.)

If, for whatever reason, none of our fabulous four events doesn’t pop your cork, we’ll be very insulted. However, all hope is not lost. Simply go to www.foxvalleymagazine.com and check out our A+E and Events sections for other ideas.
Finally, please do us a favor. We would be eternally grateful if you could share this with some of your unsuspecting family, friends and neighbors. We’d also appreciate some love on our Facebook page (see below). Ok, technically it’s a “LIKE,” but don’t be pedantic. Also, that’s actually two favors. We’ll owe you.
Thanks for reading. Until next time…OH! One more thing. If you’re reading this via the website and would like to have this emailed to you bright and early every Friday morning, please SUBSCRIBE!
