Kane County Man Arrested For Murdering Wheeling Mother; One Year-Old Daughter Found Dead
In an eventful two days this week, the investigation into the tragic murder of Wheeling’s Ja’nya Murphy, 21, and her one year-old daughter Jaclyn “Angel” Dobbs took a significant turn, as the body of the infant was discovered in Northwest Indiana Thursday, “deceased and cast off in a cold pond,” according to Wheeling Police, and an arrest warrant was issued by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for a Pinegree Grove man for the killing of Ms. Murphy. Two Naperville natives are among the people killed during the tragedy at Travis Scott’s Astroworld music festival in Houston, Texas Friday night.

Bears Defeat Steelers, Officials Declare Steelers The Winner

Pittsburgh – In a rarely used procedure, officials in Monday night’s Bears-Steelers contest took the unusual step of awarding the home team at least 10 net unearned points, resulting in a Steelers victory, 29-27.
A bewildered Bears team looked on in confusion as the head official ceremoniously met Steelers quarterback “Big” Ben Roethlisberger at midfield after the last seconds ticked off the game clock and raised his hand in victory while the home field crowd roared its approval. Read more…

The St. Charles Business Alliance and its parade committee kicked-off the holiday season by announcing Steve Martin as the Grand Marshal for the annual 2021 Electric Christmas Parade. The Electric Christmas Parade is part of St. Charles Holiday Homecoming weekend which begins on Friday, November 26th with the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony.
