On an early morning in September 2005, a group of Aurora gang members attended a party in the 600 block of Lincoln in Aurora. At that party was 21-year-old George Caro. Quinton C. Moore, one of the gang members, along with co-defendants Juan Vargas, Max M. Aguilar, Ruben Hernandez and Roman Lucio, savagely beat Caro senseless that morning. The gang members then took Caro’s shoes and shirt and left him to die. Two women are in custody in relation to a stabbing incident on Aurora’s south side Tuesday evening. At 5:35pm Tuesday, APD officers identified two victims, a 21-year-old female and 41-year-old female, both of Aurora, with apparent stab wounds in the 1200 block of South Fourth Street. Officers learned that a disturbance occurred outside a residence at that location during which two offenders, each armed with a knife, stabbed the victims about the body causing injuries to each victim. On an evening in late May, 2021, 46-year-old Samuel Ortiz-Rodriguez of Aurora was standing outside a residence talking with a few individuals. At that moment, three street-gang members from a nearby neighborhood walked by and mistakenly identified him as a member of a rival gang. One of the gang members shot him dead. Cesar J. According to a press release from the Batavia Police Department, a bicyclist was hit by an SUV at the intersection of South Batavia Avenue and Union Avenue in Batavia this afternoon. The bicyclist is in hospital in critical condition. Police are investigating the crash which occurred on at 2:29 PM Wednesday afternoon. The preliminary investigation revealed that a newer model GMC Denali was southbound on S. Batavia Avenue when it struck a bicyclist in the intersection.
