Two adult males and a juvenile male were hospitalized early Sunday morning after suffering gunshot wounds at a party in Elgin. At approximately 1:22 a.m. Sunday morning, Elgin police officers were called to the 1300 block of Inverness Drive for a reported shooting. Officers found two male adults and one male juvenile with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victims were subsequently transported to area hospitals. The preliminary investigation shows that there was a large party where an altercation occurred where shots were fired, causing the injuries. Bond was set at $100,000 with 10% to apply for a Naperville man accused of soliticiting sex from a 12-year-old girl visa text messaging. The man, 19, is in the United States on a student visa. Judge McPherson also ordered him to surrender his passport as a condition of bond. It is alleged that on August 4, 2023, the accused sent a 12 year-old girl unsolicited text messages, asking her to go on a walk and to send photos of herself to him.
