The Naperville Park District and the City of Naperville will host a free community celebration in honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary on Saturday, July 4, at the Frontier Sports Complex. At 7:30pm, the Naperville Municipal Band will perform patriotic classics at the Wagner Pavilion, located within the 95th Street Community Plaza, next to the 95th Street Library. Fireworks will begin at 9:30pm. attendees can enjoy the fireworks from within Frontier Sports Complex or from their vehicles. Bartlett’s annual 5th of July Fest is set for Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, July 5, at the SW Corner of Stearns & Bartlett Rd. Superstar musician, actor and St. Charles resident Donnie Wahlberg’s family-owned Wahlburgers restaurant announced via social media today that it will be closing its St. Charles location “effective immediately.” The communication did indicate that the restaurant is planning to move to a “new location.” No timing for the move was indicated. “To our beloved patrons, thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you back to our new location” The popular restaurant chain is owned by Donnie and two of his brothers – Mark and Executive Chef Paul – and opened in St. Charles in mid-July 2020 in…
