President Joe Biden on Wednesday announced his controversial plan to provide $10,000 in debt cancellation for millions of college-educated Americans — and up to $10,000 more for those with the greatest financial need. An off-duty Illinois State Police Officer identified a man fleeing the scene of a shooting on Aurora’s east side Thursday, stopped his vehicle, then pursued him on foot until various police agencies ultimately took the suspect into custody. At approximately 4:21PM on Thursday, Aurora Police Department officers were called to the 1000 block of N. Lake Street for a reported gunfire incident.
