On Tuesday, the Naperville Police Department arrested a 22 year-old Naperville man, of the 100 block of East Bailey Road in Naperville. The man is charged with six felony counts that include three counts of Child Pornography – Reproduce or Distribute – Video (Class X) and three counts of Child Pornography – Possess Visual Reproduction on Computer – Video (Class 2). This investigation was initiated in January of 2021 after the Naperville Police Department received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. An unnamed 25 year-old security guard had a nightmare early Wednesday morning that had nothing to do with Halloween. The guard was apparently making his periodic walk around the exterior of a large commercial building on Aurora’s West Side sometime around midnight when he fell into a 15-foot hole dug for utility purposes. The Aurora Fire Department was dispatched to the scene and, upon arrival, requested a Technical Rescue Response due to the nature of the incident. On Friday, Oct. 15, Naperville North High School received a phone call from an individual who made a threat against the school. As a result, the school was put on a soft lockdown and Naperville North was dismissed early to ensure the safety of all the students and staff members.
