Baseball is back and we brew a special beer to celebrate. A beer brewed for beer lovers and baseball lovers. This completely crushable German Style Helles was originally released for opening day a few years ago and has been so popular that you can now find it in the taproom year round! Aromas of fresh baked bread, pepper and flower rise through the fluffy head of foam. Sweet, malty flavors bubble up with the carbonation and finish with a soft mouthfeel.

Saorsa (Pronounced Sir-Shuh)
Style: Wee Heavy. ABV: 8.0%. IBUs: 25. Saorsa is a Wee Heavy style ale, the strongest of all the Scottish ales (the others being Light Scottish Ale, Heavy Scottish Ale and Export Scottish Ale). Saorsa is full bodied and malt forward, with smooth, rich notes of caramel and toffee, and a sweet, slightly boozy, brownie batter finish. The name is Gaelic in origin, meaning freedom, salvation and redemption. Brother Chimp Brewing has been creating this beer since January 2021, as it is the first brew that we release for each new year. Saorsa is the winner of The United States Beer Tasting Championship’s “Best of the Midwest Scottish Style Ale” for 2023-2024.
