Pianist Jo Ann Daugherty has traveled across the country and around the globe, making music in an astonishing variety of styles and settings. Recent highlights include an appearance on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert with SIX, serving as a featured onstage pianist with the Washington National Opera in Songbird at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, touring with the AfroBop Alliance Big Band on its Pan American Nutcracker tour, and performing regularly to sold-out audiences at Winter’s Jazz Club in Chicago.
Vocalist Bruce Henry is a composer, historian, storyteller, and performer extraordinaire whose voice is as commanding as it is versatile. With a remarkable three-and-a-half-octave range, Henry effortlessly moves from rich baritone to soaring falsetto, bringing depth and nuance to every lyric. His performances blend scholarship, heart, and artistry, creating a powerful connection with audiences.
Frequent collaborators on the Chicago-area music scene, Daugherty and Henry share an undeniable musical chemistry.
