Ceremonial events to honor our nation’s veterans will take place across Kane County on Tuesday, November 11, along with special services and community programs.

Aurora – Aurora Veterans Day Parade
Time: 10:15 a.m. – Noon
Location: Downtown Aurora, Water St. and Downer Place to the Grand Army of the Republic Military Museum

Batavia – Wreath Laying Ceremony
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Flag Day Monument downtown Batavia
Batavia – Veterans’s Day Ceremony
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Batavia VFW 645 S. River Street Batavia
Carpentersville – Carpentersville Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Carpenter Park Veterans Memorial
Geneva – Veterans Day Rifle Salute

Time: 11 a.m.

Location: 3rd and State Street downtown Geneva

Elgin – Elgin Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Heritage Ballroom, 100 Symphony Way
North Aurora – North Aurora Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Veterans Memorial (Farview and Willow Way)
Sugar Grove – Waubonsee Community College Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Sugar Grove Campus St.

St. Charles – St. Charles Veterans Day Ceremony
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: St. Charles Fire Department (Fire Station #1, 112 N. Riverside Ave.)
St. Charles – St. Charles North High School Veterans Day Celebration Concert
Time: 6 p.m.; pre-concert reception for veterans at 5 p.m.
Location: St. Charles North High School Auditorium, 255 Red Gate Rd.
