Afro-Cuban band Rico will be performing a tribute to Santana this Saturday at The Venue in downtown Aurora. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
A band with rich sound and diversified musical cultures, Rico brings a mixture of sophisticated melodic genres together. Influenced tremendously by the sound and spirit of Santana, Rico creates a fiery, soulful sound through bass, congas, percussion, drums, timbales, keyboards, guitar, and pure passion.
Rico is a conglomeration of all the great musical idioms, with a cast of talented musicians, including Ricky Rico Baker, Raymond Roque, Joe Rendon, Jesse Tobias, Jaime Claudio, Devin Thompson, and Ugochi Nwaogwugwu, to stir and season a rich flavorful sound.
