Wine selections available at local wine stores and wineries in the Fox Valley area

Ltd.+, Grenache Noir Rosé, Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon – $28.99
This robust rosé is perfect for transitioning into fall and will pair beautifully with your holiday menus. Ltd.+ are handcrafted by wine maker Chad Stock and Master of Wine Bree Stock to explore their penchant for low-intervention winemaking.
“What we are truly excited about is expanding the rosé category. You will not find a pale dry early picked rosé in our stable of wines. As Grenache in the Willamette Valley ripens at the end of October we are making, to our knowledge, the only rosé picked at the end of the season with ripe varietal fruit characters and low alcohols with high acids. This rosé is pigmented and displays strawberry, red berry and white pepper aromatics indicative of the variety. This is what interests us, flavorful varietal and vintage representative rosé.”

    2020 Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon features a delicate nose of plum and dark chocolate. Made from grapes sourced from California you will get notes of cherries and vanilla swirling together in this fruit forward red. With lighter tannins than you would usually expect from a Cabernet it lends itself to be the perfect sipping wine but has the earthiness you would expect to stand up to a juicy steak.

    Lynfred Merlot 2018
Merlot stands as one of the world’s most beloved red wines, originating from renowned terroirs like Bordeaux and Napa Valley, with promising emerging regions in Chile, Australia, and South Africa. Notably, Lodi in California, within the USA, has evolved into an intriguing hub for Merlot grape cultivation, marked by a compelling blend of quantity and quality. The wines produced here boast strikingly fruity profiles and a well-balanced acidity.

Lynfred Winery’s 2018 vintage Merlot is a testament to this excellence, crafted exclusively from 100% Merlot grapes sourced from the esteemed Borra Vineyards in California’s Lodi region. Winemaker Rodrigo Gonzalez meticulously aged this wine in a combination of American and French oak barrels for 24 months, resulting in a symphony of flavors, including hints of vanilla, cherries, dark chocolate, brown sugar, and coffee beans. This wine offers an exquisite complement to a Thanksgiving charcuterie board.

For those eager to savor this exceptional vintage, it’s available for $25.75 at www.lynfredwinery.com.
