(The first in a series of 2021’s top stories in the Fox Valley.)

In June, a fatal shooting took place at a new St. Charles night club – Trilogy – located on Lincoln Highway. The incident shocked the community and spurred protests putting pressure on the St. Charles city council to revoke the license of the establishment.

Eventually, the license was voluntarily withdrawn by the owners and the club shut down. Here’s what out coverage looked like then, including our exclusive acquisition of security footage of the incident from a nearby business.
