The Kane County SWAT team was called in early Wednesday morning to secure the arrest of a St. Charles man accused of stabbing his friend. At approximately 12:58am, St. Charles Police Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Chesapeake Road in St. Charles where a man was said to be heard yelling for help. A 23-year-old Aurora man is in custody after Naperville police allegedly found him illegally in possession of a firearm early Sunday morning. The suspect is a two-time convicted felon and was out on parole. A 69-year-old man who was killed early yesterday morning after being struck by three vehicles on Illinois Route 31 near Miller Road in Dundee Township has been identified. According to the Kane County Coroner’s office, the victim was Thomas Yucuis, a resident of East Dundee. A 69-year-old resident of East Dundee was killed early this morning after being struck by three vehicles on Illinois Route 31 near Miller Road in Dundee Township. A preliminary investigation by the Kane County Sheriff’s Office indicates that at approximately 05:58am this morning, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Illinois Route 31 and Miller Road for multiple vehicles that had struck a pedestrian in the roadway. A 30-year-old homeless man has agreed to a sentence of 15 years of imprisonment in the Illinois Department of Corrections in exchange for a guilty plea to the offense of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm at Police Officers, a Class X felony. A 54-year-old Naperville man is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Route 59 in Aurora Tuesday morning. At approximately 8:46am Tuesday, the Aurora Police Department and Aurora Fire Department responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash at the intersection of North Illinois Route 59 and Fox Valley Entrance 1. An 8-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle while crossing North Kirk Road just north of the Wilson Street intersection Tuesday afternoon.
