Pittsburgh – In a rarely used procedure, officials in Monday night’s Bears-Steelers contest took the unusual step of awarding the home team at least 10 net unearned points, resulting in a Steelers victory, 29-27. The Aurora Police Department is looking to identify two people wanted for questioning in connection to an overnight burglary on September 18th. The men used credit cards that were taken during the burglary, and then left in a silver four-door sedan. The man who was shot and killed during last Monday morning’s shooting in the 200 block of North Jackson Street has now been identified by the Kane County Coroner’s Office. The victim was 38-year-old Francisco Reyes-Hernandez of Schaumburg. Two other victims were shot during the incident, one of whom received what Elgin police termed a “serious injury,” while the third sustained non-life-threatening wounds. The is no further information on the condition of these victims. The shooting occurred at around 2am Monday morning.
