A 19-year-old man is dead after is car collided with a semi-truck on Butterfield Road near Eola Road Thursday morning. Preliminary information indicates that at approximately 6:30am a red Saturn SUV, driven by a 19-year-old man, collided with a semi-truck on Butterfield Road just east of Hedge Row Drive. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash, which resulted in significant damage to all three vehicles. The drivers of the semi-truck and the third vehicle were transported to local hospitals by Aurora Fire Department paramedics with injuries. A 5-year-old child was tragically killed Tuesday after apparently being struck by a vehicle in a driveway in St. Charles. At approximately 5:09pm Tuesday, the St. Charles Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to a driveway in the 4000 block of Royal Fox Drive for a traffic crash in which a 5-year-old child had been struck. Upon arrival, officers located a neighbor performing CPR on the child and immediately took over. Three suspects are in custody after being observed by Naperville police officers behaving suspiciously and subsequently stealing clothes from a downtown Naperville clothing stores. Early last week, the attention of officers patrolling the downtown area was drawn to a rental vehicle with multiple occupants not wearing seatbelts. At approximately 9:33pmMonday, Aurora Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of Metropolitan Street., where they located a 17-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
