A 50-year-old man has been charged in the stabbing death of a 47-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy in the Emma’s Landing subdivision on Geneva’s west side Thursday evening. Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie L. Mosser and Geneva Chief of Police Eric Passarelli announced today that the suspect has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder, a class M felony. Two people are dead, incuding a 13-year-old boy, after a domestic incident in the Emma’s Landing subdivision on Geneva’swest side Thursday evening. According to Geneva police, officers responded to a fatal domestic violence 911 call at 8pm Thursday in the 2700 block of Emma’s Way, where they found two victims, both of whom were later pronounced deceased at separate local hospitals. Three juvenile males, ages 15, 15 and 14, are in custody after allegedly firing weapons illegally late last month. The arrests come after an investigation into an incident that occurred on the evening of November 29, when Elgin police officers responded to the 1200 block of Amanda Circle for a report of shots fired. At the time, officers only confirmed that shots had been fired, but further investigation led police to the three juveniles. An Aurora man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the fentanyl-related death of a young woman. Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis announced Tiuesday that Macros Salas was sentenced to 10 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by the Honorable Jody Gleason for Drug Induced Homicide on Monday. Salas had entered a plea of guilty to the offense back in October of 2024. Three men are in custody after Naperville police spotted them in a vehile that allegedly had been stolen in a carjacking an hour earlier.
