An Aurora man is in custody charged with numerous felonies after his vehicle allegedly swerved into an oncoming lane on Randall Road Saturday evening, initiating a head-on collision that took the life of a 71-year-old Geneva woman and critically injuring her 26-year-old son. Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie Mosser announced that yesterday Judge D.J. Update: According to police, on Sunday at approximately 3:00pm a missing person report was filed at the Elgin Police Department regarding a male subject who closely matched the description of the male who went into the Fox River. Photos were shown to the family, and he was tentatively identified as being the same individual involved in Friday’s incident.
