The common refrain from police to lock your cars and avoid leaving valuables within is never truer than now in the Fox Valley, it would seem. Batavia police reported three separate car burglaries that took place in the early hours of Thursday morning, all in the Tanglewood subdivision on the west side of Batavia. Authorities indicated that other, nearby jurisdictions have received similar reports of car burglaries. According to authorities, the latest incident occurred at approximately 2:00am, in the 2400 block of Bird Lane in Batavia.
