A 55-year-old man is in custody and has been charged with an early-morning burglary of a Walgreens in Naperville. DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Naperville Chief of Police Jason Arres announced today that the suspect, a resident of Naperville, has been charged with one count of Burglary (Class 2 Felony) and one count of Criminal Damage to Property (Class 4 Felony). Authorities have now identified the person killed in a fiery crash on I-88 Monday morning. The deceased is Laura Rudow, 52, of Elburn, who was killed when her vehicle was hit head-on as she drove westward in the eastbound lane of I-88 near milemarker 102 just southwest of Elburn. The driver of the eastbound vehicle was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to Illinois State Police, both vehicles involved in the crash burst into flames on impact. According to multiple media reports, at approximately 5:19am Monday morning, a vehicle was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-88 near milemarker 103 just southwest of Elburn when it crashed head-on into another vehicle.
