A fifteen-year-old Aurora male was arrested in Naperville Sunday for allegedly possessing a loaded semiautomatic weapon. DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Naperville Chief of Police Jason Arres announced yesterday that the juvenile has been charged with one count of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, a Class 4 Felony, and one count of Misdemeanor Possession of Ammunition without a FOID Card.  The juvenile appeared at his detention hearing Monday where Judge Chantelle Porter ordered he be released to the custody of his mother on home detention lockdown. A 59-year-old woman was hospitalized after being attacked by a 47-year-old Wisconsin man while walking her dog in a McHenry park Sunday afternoon. Police indicate that her injuries are considered to be serious. According to the McHenry Police Department, on Sunday afternoon the suspect was walking his unleashed dog in Peterson Park in McHenry when he suddenly attacked and battered a 59-year-old woman who was also walking her dog. The attack was unprovoked, and investigators believe that there was no connection between the suspect and the victim. Last week, two bison calves were born, marking the start of calving season at Fermilab. A 29-year-old Cortland woman was killed early Wednesday evening when the motorcycle she was riding as a passenger collided with an SUV on Butterfield Road in Aurora. According to Aurora police, at around 5:02pm Wednesday a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling eastbound on Butterfield Road and attempted to make a U-turn in the roadway. A Chicago man is in custody after being arrested for allegedly selling cocaine in the Naperville area. After a three month invesigation into alleged cocaine sales in the Naperville area, on Wednesday afternoon Naperville police arrested a 28-year-old man in the 5600 block of Abbey Drive in Lisle.   The suspect has been charged with three counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (two Class X felonies and one Class 1 felony).
