A 44-year-old Harvey man was arrested late Wednesday afternoon after police allegedly found cocaine in his car following a routine traffic stop. Just before 5:00pm on Wednesday, officers observed the suspect commit multiple traffic violations while driving a vehicle near the intersection of Diehl Road and Raymond Drive. During the course of the traffic stop, police located .1 grams of alleged crack cocaine inside the vehicle and placed the suspect under arrest. According to a report from WFIE News in Evansville, Indiana, an Elgin woman is in custody on drug and child neglect charges after passing out in an Evansville hotel room while her young child wandered the hotel hallways. According to the report, police indicated that the incident occured Monday at the Clarion Inn on East Indiana Street in Evansville. DuPage County Judge Brian Jacobs has denied pre-trial release for a 20-year-old Cook County man who was allegedly found to be in possession of a loaded gun outside of Naperville’s TopGolf facility on Odyssey Court.
