Naperville police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman in the tony Naperville neighborhood of White Eagle Saturday. Police were dispatched Saturday morning to a home in the 2500 block of Saddlebrook Drive where they discovered an adult female suffering from several apparent stab wounds. The Naperville Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. The exact cause of death is under investigation by the DuPage County Coroner’s Office. A woman is dead after being shot late Tuesday morning after what police believe was a domestic dispute. At 11:57am Tuesday, Elgin police officers responded to the 1300 block of Fleetwood Drive for a report of an injured subject. Officers arrived on the scene and located an adult female victim with injuries who was subsequently transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The name of the victim is being withheld until positive identification is made by the Kane County Coroner’s Office. A 26-year-old Carol Stream man is in custody after being accused of shooting another man following a road rage altercation last Thursday. DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Carol Stream Chief of Police Don Cummings announced Saturday that Judge Susan Alvarado has granted the State’s motion to detain the accused pre-trial after he was charged with one count of Aggravated Battery – Discharge of a Firearm (a Class X Felony) and one count of Misdemeanor Endangering the Health or Life of a Child. Naperville police continue to investigate a shooting incident Sunday morning that resulted in a man being hospitalized. On Sunday at approximately 5:12am, Naperville police received a call indicating that a gunshot was heard in the 1500 block of Watkins Lane. The caller related that three individuals were involved in an argument in the parking lot and that, during the argument, a gunshot was heard. The caller reported that the three subjects fled on foot.
