Naperville police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman in the tony Naperville neighborhood of White Eagle Saturday. Police were dispatched Saturday morning to a home in the 2500 block of Saddlebrook Drive where they discovered an adult female suffering from several apparent stab wounds. The Naperville Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. The exact cause of death is under investigation by the DuPage County Coroner’s Office. A woman is dead after being shot late Tuesday morning after what police believe was a domestic dispute. At 11:57am Tuesday, Elgin police officers responded to the 1300 block of Fleetwood Drive for a report of an injured subject. Officers arrived on the scene and located an adult female victim with injuries who was subsequently transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The name of the victim is being withheld until positive identification is made by the Kane County Coroner’s Office. Naperville police continue to investigate a shooting incident Sunday morning that resulted in a man being hospitalized. On Sunday at approximately 5:12am, Naperville police received a call indicating that a gunshot was heard in the 1500 block of Watkins Lane.
