On March 24, 2019, Thomas Summerwill of Campton Hills beat his mother to death with a baseball bat. According to prosecutors, Mary Bridget Summerwill’s head and body received numerous injuries, one so severe that brain matter was observed. A Naperville man was killed Monday afternoon when his motorcycle crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Washington Street and Royce Road in Naperville. 33-year-old Antoinette Perkins has agreed to a sentence of 30 months of probation in exchange for a guilty plea to the offense of official misconduct, Class 3 felony. Kane County Associate Judge Salvatore LoPiccolo accepted the plea. In addition to the probation term, Perkins must complete 100 hours of community service by Jan. 15, 2024, and she forfeits any future government employment, and she is to have no contact with the former Illinois Youth Center inmate. Dominguez has agreed to a sentence of 25 years’ imprisonment in the Illinois Department of Corrections in exchange for a guilty plea to the offenses of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, Class X felony, and aggravated criminal sexual abuse, Class 2 felony. Kane County Judge Alice C. Tracy accepted the plea.
