The Geneva Chamber of Commerce’s 74th Annual Swedish Days Festival opens in downtown Geneva on Wednesday, and this year’s festival has an array of talent that offers something for every type of music fan.
“Bringing a mix of genres and styles to the festivals is always top of mind. We begin on Wednesday with the Swedish American Children’s Choir as well as Geneva Park District performances and Geneva’s Got Talent semi-finals. This has allowed the Geneva Chamber to bring new bands each evening to Central Stage, Thursday through Saturday. We hope the audience enjoys returning favorites and new additions,” noted Johanna Patterson, Communications Director of Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
Wednesday evening’s Central Stage entertainment will begin at 4:30 p.m. with traditional Swedish promenade with music. At 5:30 p.m. enjoy live performances by various groups from the Geneva Park District including dance and cheer performances.
