According to a report from WGN, the body located in the Fox River Wednesday evening is that of Amanda Flick, 41, of St. Charles. A preliminary autopsy indicated that the cause of death was drowning, pending further investigation.
The investigation into Flick’s death is ongoing.
Multiple outlets are reporting that a deceased body was found in the Fox River in St. Charles Township Wednesday evening.
According to ABC News, a boater spotted the body at around 5:30pm.
The Kane County Sheriff’s office is conducting a death investigation in cooperation with the Kane County Coroner, who will be performing an autopsy to determine cause of death.
