Bigger and better than ever!

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday in St. Charles with an unforgettable fireworks display at Langum Park, featuring an even bigger grand finale! Arrive early to enjoy a DJ, food trucks, photo opportunities, giveaways, and more. https://www.stcharlesil.gov/News…/July-4th-Fireworks-2026

Looking for the perfect viewing spot? At 1pm on July 4, the St. Charles Park District will release a big red balloon above Langum Park. If you can see the balloon, you’ll have a great view of the fireworks after dark!

Before taking in the spectacular fireworks show, check out one of St. Charles’ wonderful parks for a day of fun.

Langum Park

  • Open Dawn to 11pm (foot traffic only)
  • Bring your own tables and lawn chairs.
  • Food Truck: Snack Zone Concessions & Sweet Sensations · 4pm-DARK
  • Glow Novelty Sales · 6-9pm: Proceeds benefit the Financial Aid Program
  • DJ Entertainment · 6:30-9:30pm
  • Information Tent: First Aid & Lost Children
  • Softball Fields & Tennis Courts – OPEN FOR SEATING
  • Restrooms – OPEN
  • Playground – CLOSED
  • Parking Lots – CLOSED

Mount St Mary Park

  • Open Dawn to 11pm (foot traffic only)
  • Picnic tables available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Bring your own tables and lawn chairs.
  • Food Trucks: Kona Ice, Hippie Gourmet Grilled Cheese Co. & Kissed by Fire BBQ · 4pm-DARK
  • Glow Zone Novelty Sales · 6-9pm
  • DJ Entertainment · 6:30-9:30pm
  • Information Tent: First Aid & Lost Children

Pottawatomie Park (Not a Viewing Site)

  • Open Dawn to 11pm
  • Picnic tables available on a first come, first served basis..
  • Bring your own tables and lawn chairs.
  • Sports: Sand Volleyball, Frisbee & Tennis
  • Games: Bocce Ball & Baggo
  • Inclusive Playground & Sensory Garden
  • Multi-level Play Area with Tree House, Climbing Wall, Bridges, Chutes & Slides
  • Parking Fees  Resident Free; Nonresident $10/vehicle
  • Restrooms – OPEN
  • Pottawatomie Golf Course
    • Open 5:30am-4pm
    • 9 holes (walking only) – $22/person
    • Pull cart – $4
    • Riding cart – $13/rider
    • Tee Time Reservations Required – Call 630-584-8356
  • Swanson Pool
    • Open Swim 10:30am-5pm
    • Ages 3+ – Residents $9; Nonresidents $13/person
    • Residents and season pass holders may enter 30 minutes before Open Swim
  • Paddlewheel Riverboat Cruises
    • Depart 11am, 12:15pm, 1:30pm, 2:45pm, 4pm & 5:15pm

In the case of inclement weather, the fireworks will be held the next available evening. Note: Boy Scout Island is closed the entire day.
