On the corner of 59 and Army Trail, just minutes from St.Charles, Squares Pizza Pub is reviving the family night out.
The idea came from a conversation about what’s next between Chef Blaine, head chef of Preservation, and owner Lawrence Colburn. When Chef Blaine mentioned he grew up in Detroit and had crafted his own take on authentic Detroit-style pizza, the vision for Squares was born. A neighborhood pub built around bold flavor, great music, and an inviting, come-as-you-are atmosphere.
At the heart of the menu is that signature Detroit-style pie — thick crust with crispy caramelized edges, rich sauce, and thoughtfully layered toppings that balance comfort and creativity. Crowd favorites include the pepperoni and hot honey and the mushroom and goat cheese pie. Beyond pizza, Squares offers fresh, loaded salads, shareable appetizers, and a full bar with craft cocktails, local beers, and classic drinks, making it a complete spot for dinner, drinks, and a night out.
Squares also shares a spot with its sister concept, Atlas Chicken, known for its chef-driven approach to comfort food. Together, the restaurants reflect a shared philosophy: take familiar favorites and execute them with intention, quality ingredients, and a creative edge. Beyond the food, Squares keeps the energy high with live music, music bingo, and trivia nights that turn an ordinary dinner into a full-on night out.
With crave-worthy pizza, cold drinks, and a welcoming vibe, Squares Pizza Pub isn’t just serving pies — it’s bringing back the joy of gathering at your local spot, one perfectly crisp square at a time.
