Broadway star Sean Doherty will perform romantic songs with an ensemble from the Elgin Symphony Orchestra at an exclusive Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday, February. 14, at Dunham Woods Riding Club, 33w333 Army Trail Road in Wayne, Illinois.
Tickets $200 and must be purchased by noon Wednesday, Feb. 4, at www.ElginSymphony.org or through the Elgin Symphony Orchestra Box Office, 847-888-4000. The ESO Box Office is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 3pm.
The evening begins at 6pm with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a chef-designed gourmet dinner and dessert. Attendees will be able to pre-select their choice of one of three, premium dinner options, when they purchase their tickets:
- Grilled Salmon and Herb Marinated Chicken, served with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and chive butter sauce
- Petite Filet Mignon and Grilled Colossal Shrimp, served with risotto and mushroom sherry cream sauce
- Vegan Pasta with seasonal vegetables

Following dinner, Sean Doherty and an ESO ensemble will perform romantic and classic songs including Falling Slowly, Feeling Good, Mack the Knife, It All Fades Away.
Sean Doherty grew up in Hampshire, Illinois. An actor, singer, and songwriter, he has been seen in theatrical productions in not only New York City but around the world, such as the Off-Broadway hit Teeth, the national tour of the Alanis Morrisette musical Jagged Little Pill, the world-premieres of both Men With Money and Eighty-Sixed, and touring the globe singing pop and jazz hits in shows such as Shades of Bublé, NYC3, and Bachelors of Broadway. He currently resides in New York City, working at the world-famous Ellen’s Stardust Diner in Times Square. His original music is available on all streaming services, and he will be also seen in the upcoming film Spirit Tasting directed by Chris LaMartina.
