A Bartlett man is in custody after allegedly using a handgun to rob a business on Chicago’s West Side earlier this month.
According to Chicago police, on December 16 at approximately 12:15pm, the 55-year-old suspect produced a handgun and demanded property from a commercial business in the 1700 block of West 18th Street in Chicago. The value of property received, if any, has not been disclosed.
Yesterday at 8:40am, members of the Chicago Police Department Citywide Robbery Task Force arrested the suspect in the 500 Block of Wilson Lane in Des Plaines.. The offender was placed into custody and charged with one count of felony Robbery – Armed W/ Firearm.
The suspect will appear at a detention hearing today in Chicago.
