Featured selections of Craft Beers created by local Fox Valley area brewing companies.

Shelterfest Munich-Style Festbier
5.9%. Shelterfest is brewed in the style of the present-day Munich Oktoberfest beers. Slightly bigger than a Munich Helles, this golden, malt-forward lager is bready, with hints of light toast in both aroma and flavor. Clean, crisp, and well-balanced, this pale lager is delicious and crushable.

Oktoberfest
German Style Marzen. 6% ABV. Oom-pah! Here’s our rift on the popular German style Marzen – aka Oktoberfest bier. Using the finest German malt, hops and lager yeast, this beer is malty and clean, with a beautiful mahogany hue. Ready to be shared by the liter!

Scarecrows in Lederhosen
Märzen-Style Oktoberfest Lager. Scarecrows in Ledenhosen, our seasonal Märzen-Style Lager, flaps its way back into our St. Charles brewery for the Oktoberfest season!
Here for a fleeting, flickering moment, this beer beckons in the changing of seasons, its amber hues foreshadowing the Autumn colors coming in the weeks and months ahead.
Available on tap and in 4-packs to-go while supplies last.

Eleventh Anniversary Festbier Lager
5.7% ABV. Our Eleventh Anniversary is in September and as we’ve always done since our very first Anniversary in 2015, we brewed a lager to celebrate! This year, we cooked up a 5.7% ABV Festbier Lager. Brewed with German malts, hops, and yeast, this beer is lighter in color and body than our Fruhauf Oktoberfest Lager, but still super smooth and full of malty flavor with a light hop character for balance.

Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling
106 S Riverside Ave.
St. Charles, IL 60174

Oktofest
German Inspired Oktoberfest Märzen Lager. 6.0% ABV. Crafted with a select blend of German malts and hops that highlight a substantial Munich malt bready body to hoist a stein or two (or three) in your favorite fall season. Join us for our Oktoberfest event on Saturday, September 13 behind the Penrose taproom! Plenty of family fun, stein hoisting contests, and music! Tickets available online or at the door.

Saxon
Style: Citrus Golden Ale. ABV: 5.2%. Saxon is a summer citrus golden ale, blending the light malt character of a delightful golden ale with the vibrant zest of 90 fresh limes. We use no artificial flavors in the concoction of this beer, just old school, clean brewing tactics and manually zesting a few large bags of sun-kissed limes by hand. The result is the simplicity of nature’s artistry in the citrus grove, blended with and elevating a clean, crisp summer ale.
