The City of Elgin will hold its annual End of Summer Bash this Saturday, August 9th, at Festival Park in downtown Elgin.
Elgin’s End of Summer Bash in Festival Park offers food and drinks, music, a drone show, photo opportunities and fun for the whole family.
Say goodbye to summer with one dino-mite party featuring live music, life-sized dinosaurs, interactive performances, local food vendors, community partners, and tons of free family fun.
Prepare to step into a prehistoric playground. Festival Park will be transformed into an immersive dinosaur adventure packed with fun for all ages: life-size dinosaurs, amazing photo opportunities, a live volcano, magician show, live reptile show, juggler, baby dino pets, balloon artists, LED mini golf, bounce house, giant LED Lite Brite, fossil dig, dino fossil crafting & slime making, oversized yard games and so much more.
Connect with local organizations and service providers from around the Elgin area! Community partners will be onsite to share resources, giveaways, and provide information on the incredible programs they offer.
Come hungry. The End of Summer Bash will feature up to 20 food vendors offering a variety of delicious eats- from classic festival fare to international flavors, sweet treats, and refreshing beverages. If you are interested in being a food vendor for this event, please visit our Vendor Page.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to Festival Park, 132 South Grove from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. In the case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
