On Friday, August 1, First Fridays will feature sidewalk sales and the return of Aurora Downtown’s annual Stolp Block Party.
Stolp Avenue will be closed off for the block party between Downer Place and Galena Boulevard as live art and food trucks take over the street. Live music will be performed at Millennium Plaza gazebo featuring LeGrande Band from 6-9pm.
My Funnel Truck & Lemonade, Nick’s Pizza Truck, Grumpy Gaucho, and Tavern on Broadway’s Shaved Ice & Beer Trailer will all be on hand with great food and drinks.
Entertainment includes The Band and Saint Astro. Face painting & glitter, a magician, a balloon artist, hair styling and craft station and more.
It’s a celebration of community, and everyone is welcome.
The block party is from 5pm to 9pm. The event is free and welcomes all ages and abilities.
