Restaurateur Brian Goewey’s culinary vision and business adventure began with the opening of GIA MIA in downtown Wheaton in 2015. Since then, we have been providing several communities across the Chicagoland area with a cozy and modern dining experience the whole family enjoys. Our locations include Geneva, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Naperville, St. Charles, Wheaton and soon, Lombard.

When it comes to cooking, Chef Brian Goewey knows a thing or two about it. He also understands that the more one can plan out a menu in advance, the better. Applying this simple principle allows more time to cook and enjoy the process. Planning, passion for cooking, entrepreneurial foresight, and drive are the key ingredients that have helped him achieve success in every restaurant venture he undertakes. Chef Goewey has been involved in, as well as partially responsible for, the opening of over 50 restaurants, ranging from quick-serve styles to high-end 5-star establishments.

At GIA MIA, we pride ourselves on an array of chef-driven, farm-to-fork concepts, such as Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas, creative small plates, fresh pasta, and much more. GIA MIA provides a fresh spin on Southern Italian tradition.

Along with our mixology bar, GIA MIA also features craft beers and exclusive wines carefully chosen to complement any meal. With offers such as our daily lunch special menu, half-price pizza Mondays, and Wine on Wednesdays, which features 1/2 price rotating monthly wine selections, we’ll be sure to make any day of the week feel like a special occasion for you and your family.
