Aurora police are investigating what they believe was a domestic-related shooting Tuesday afternoon on the city’s northwest side.
At approximately 4:28pm on Tuesday, Aurora Police and Fire personnel responded to a incident in the 1000 block of North Edgelawn Drive in Aurora wherein a male subject reportedly fired a weapon during an altercation inside the residence, striking another individual.
The injured person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As this incident is believed to be domesic-related, and based on the initial investigation, authorities believe that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
