A bomb threat against entertainment arcade Round 1 in the Fox Valley Mall resulted in the temporary shut-down of a large portion of the mall Wednesday afternoon.
According to Aurora police, at approximately 3:30pm officers responded to a bomb threat at Round 1 Fox Valley, a bowling and games arcade located in the popular Fox Valley Mall in Aurora. The eastern portion of the shopping center was temporarily closed while patrol and investigations units, along with an ATF bomb dog, conducted a thorough search of the area.
After a comprehensive investigation, no threat was found, and the shopping center was reopened for business.
No information as to the source of the threat has been made public at this time.
