Naperville police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman in the tony Naperville neighborhood of White Eagle Saturday.
Police were dispatched Saturday morning to a home in the 2500 block of Saddlebrook Drive where they discovered an adult female suffering from several apparent stab wounds. The Naperville Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The exact cause of death is under investigation by the DuPage County Coroner’s Office.
When police arrived, several subjects were present in the residence, and after a preliminary investigation an adult male was placed under arrest.
The names of all involved parties are being withheld pending further investigation into the incident.
