    Juvenile In Custody After Melee In Oswego’s Boulder Hill Subdivision

    A male juvenile is in custody and facing multiple charges following an altercation on Old Post Road in the Boulder Hill subdivision of Oswego.

    According to the Kendall Country Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday at approximtely 12:17pm Sheriff’s deputies were called to investigate an altercation on Old Post Road involving an individual armed with a baseball bat who was threatening the residents of a nearby home. By the time deputies arrived on the scene, the individual had left the area and could not be immediately located.

    Later that day, at around 6;55pm, deputies were called back to the same location for reports of a large fight involving multiple people. While the individuals involved again fled the scene prior to the deputies’ arrival, deputies were able to get a description of the vehicle involved, and after further investigation, the vehicle believed to be involved in this incident was identified and later located. .

    Subsequently, the male juvenile was developed as a suspect and, after additional investigation, was taken into custody.

    As a result of the second incident, multiple people required medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

    The Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office has chared the juvenile with robbery, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and mob action.

    The suspect was processed at the Kendall County Jail and is currently in custody at the Juvenile Justice Center.
