Pop phenom Taylor Swift is coming to Batavia. Well, to the silver screen in Batavia at least.
The recently-opened Emagine Batavia theatre, which boasts the larget movie screen in Illinois, will present the film “Taylor Swift: Eras Tour” starting Friday, Oct. 13, according to a press release.
The concert film will be in theaters for a limited time only.
The Super EMX auditorium at Emagine Batacvia is billed as the largest movie screen in Illinois, measuring over 96 feet wide and 53 feet tall (the size of an NBA court flipped on its side). The 4K laser-projected image is paired with a Dolby Atmos® immersive sound system with 70 channels of sound.
Ticket prices start at $13.13 for students/children/seniors/military members and $19.89 for adults. Additional fees may apply, according to the release.
Emagine Batavia is located at 550 North Randall in Batavia. Tickets can be purchased online at www.emagine-entertainment.com, at the box office or on the Emagine App.
