The City of Elgin will celebrate the Fourth of July with a parade, concert and fireworks, all occurring on Tuesday, July 4.
This year’s theme is “90s Throwback.”
Food trucks suited for various tastes will be parked on Grove street adjacent to Festival Park starting at 4:00 p.m. A free concert featuring various live music acts from across the United States will take place at Festival Park, located at 132 S Grove Avenue at 7:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy this all day event.
The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks show beginning at approximately 9:20 p.m. and lasting approximately 20-30 minutes.
Parade Information
The 4th of July parade commences at 9:00 a.m. from the intersection of Douglas and Slade. The parade concludes at the intersection of Douglas and Highland, near City Hall. This year there will be no float judging.
No outside alcohol or pets will be allowed at the concert and fireworks.
