The Tacos & Tequila Festival is officially returning to the Chicago area for its third consecutive year. Set for Saturday, September 26, it promises one massive, sun-soaked day of nostalgia, flavor, and the biggest names in 2000s hip-hop and R&B.
Part of a nationwide tour touching down in cities across the U.S., Chicago has always been one of the festival’s most electric stops — and the 2026 edition is set to be the biggest yet. Nestled along the Fox River just 40 miles west of the city, Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva offers a rare open-air setting that feels miles away from the rush of downtown, giving festival-goers a full-day escape without ever leaving the Chicagoland area.
This year’s lineup delivers the ultimate throwback day party with performances from Rick Ross, Ginuwine, Xzibit, Chamillionaire, Yung Joc, MIMS, and more. Festival favorite DJ Ashton Martin keeps the energy locked in between sets with the hits that defined a generation.
From the Rick Ross classic “Hustlin’” and Ginuwine’s smooth “Pony,” this is the soundtrack of the 2000s — live, loud, and ready to take over Chicago.
